My sister was going to be coming to China to visit, and I took the opportunity to go into Hong Kong to pick her up from the airport. I made my way across the border and then took the metro to Sheung Shui MTR station before boarding the A43 bus to the Hong Kong airport. This was my first time heading back to the airport since moving to Guangzhou, and the only time I made this trip without having to lug two huge, over-sized suitcases with me.
It was also a beautiful (and hot) summer day in Hong Kong. The sky was an alluring bright blue and because I didn’t have luggage with me, I was able to make my way onto the bus to grab one of the front row seats on the upper deck. I had the perfect view of the city on the hour long drive to the airport and through the window, I was able to snap some pretty pictures of the famous Tsing Ma Bridge.
The bus ride was wonderful and the beauty of the scenery definitely distracted me during the ride, as it was over before I knew it.
