The hotel is about a 15 minute cab ride from the airport and about a 25 minute drive from the Angkor Wat complex. The hotel is not on the main road, but it is still on quite a busy street with all sorts of vendors. It is also quite close to the market as well. We never paid more than $2.00USD for a tuktuk ride to any of the markets.
There are tuktuk drivers lined up outside the hotel ready to negotiate for any trips that you may want to take. We actually ended up hiring a (fantastic) driver for the day to take us to the Angkor Wat and he basically looped us around the area and stopped at each of the temples he thought would interest us. When we returned back to our hotel in the late afternoon, we made arrangements for him to come back to pick us up again in a few hours, to take us to the night market for supper. The drivers work so hard and are so appreciative of anything you can give them. We tipped our driver a minimal amount but he was very thankful and we ended up asking him to come back the next day to take us to the airport.
We ate at the hotel restaurant quite a few times. The food and service were both very good. We also tried the spa and experienced their massages which were quite different from massages back home. Nonetheless, it was still a very good experience.
Internet was available at the hotel, but it was extremely slow.
