On our second day in Kaohsiung, we had breakfast at this cute little café we found online. This place definitely had a very local feel to it, as it didn’t even have an English name.
The café is tucked away on a little side street off the main road and the reason we decided to visit is because it is a photography themed café. The place is littered with cameras, photos, rolls of film and all sorts of other photography accessories. Even the entrance area is like an art exhibit, hosting photos and displays of little camera add-ons.
The food choices were surprisingly abundant given that it was a tiny little café. The food itself wasn’t the best, but to be in a place as such, and to see the obvious devotion and passion the owner has towards photography is quite wonderful. Due to the lack of space, we were seated in a little corner area underneath the staircase. It would have definitely been better to be seated in the main area, but we had already had to wait for about 20 minutes so we didn’t argue when we were brought to our seats.
