C1 Espresso is a café that is mentioned quite a lot online and I decided to go see what the big fuss was about.
Upon entering, you order your food at the front before taking a seat. There is self -serve water service, in the form of an old sewing machine. A very cool idea, but unfortunately it took forever to fill one cup of water.
One of the first things that you will notice when you walk into the café is that there are tons of tubes running through the ceiling of the café. It reminded me a bit of Costco as Costco used to use tubes to send cash and receipts to their back office. I was curious to see how the food would all fit into the tube as they are quite narrow.
They somehow managed to find a way to do it as my order of a burger and fries somehow ended up fitting into the tube perfectly.
I wouldn’t say that the food was good enough to go back, but I think the novelty of this place and all the unique little quirks make it worth going back. I didn’t get to take a picture, but even the bathrooms were very unique.
