This is one of those places that I would never have known about if I wasn’t taken there personally by a local. The gelateria is actually quite large, but seeing as how there are so many famous gelaterias in Rome, it’s easy to miss out on one as great as this. It’s a bit tucked away as well, located about 2 blocks from the San Giovanni traffic circle.
I’ve always been told that I’m crazy because I don’t especially like tiramisu. However, I was told that I had to try it at this place, so I selected a strawberry flavoured one to try.
It turns out that I really like tiramisu in Italy! It was very different from what I’d had before at home and was really light and flavourful and just the right amount of sweetness. Aside from tiramisu, they also had a huge variety of other cakes and pastries.
