When I heard about Gojima and their unique burgers, I knew that I would want to try it.
This is a fusion burger chain where the burger is held together by deep fried rice paddies and seaweed, opposed to the traditional burger bun.
They had a number of unique burgers on the menu, including beef, chicken, fish and veggie options. I stuck with the Gojima Cheeseburger but it was a tough decision as most of their burgers sounded delicious.
The cheeseburger was much better than I expected. I had thought that the dense rice patties would be dry and hard, but that wasn’t the case at all. Overall, it was very enjoyable and something unique that you don’t find in many places.
Aside from the burgers, they also have fried chicken, sides such as fries, salad and soup, along with shakes and ice cream. If I had had more time in Sydney, I would definitely go back to try the other menu items.
