The weekend that we were to visit Austin coincided with the Austin City Limits Music Festival, so hotel rooms in downtown Austin were very pricey. We decided to stay about 20 minutes from city centre instead, where we were able to get a more reasonable priced room.
From the airport, it is about a 20-30 minute cab ride. A public bus is also available but would take about 1.5 hours, so we decided that it was not worth it to do that.
At check in, they provided us with a welcome package which included a bottle of water and a snack (a pack of nuts and chocolates). We found it a bit funny in that there were 2 of us, but they only provided one package per room, so only one of us got a bottle of water.
The front desk staff were super friendly and check in was a breeze. We ended up with a connecting room, which also had a balcony. The room itself was bright and of a good size.
Overall, we had a good stay and would definitely recommend this property.
