We booked a family room so that all 4 of us could stay together and when we opened the door of the hotel room, we were greeted with probably the largest hotel room I had ever seen. The room consisted of 2 King beds (but was large enough to probably fit 6 King beds) along with a huge soaker tub that could have easily fit 8-10 people. Unfortunately the minerals made the tub look a bit worn, but it was still a neat experience soaking in there.
The hotel is located about a 15-20 minute walk from the Beitou MRT station, but there is a complimentary shuttle service provided by the hotel. When you exit the MRT station, there is a shuttle bus stop with signs of all the different hotels listing the shuttle times. However, they request that you still call in advance to let them know how many people are in your party so that they can prepare the correct bus for you. Also, if no one calls them, they just assume that no shuttle is needed and you will be caught waiting and waiting until someone else calls.
Due to almost everything being closed on Mondays in Beitou, all the hotels were also very quiet. In fact, the entire time we were at the hotel, we didn’t see anyone else outside our little group.
