When my tour bus first pulled up to the property and I saw the words Motor Inn, I was a bit apprehensive, thinking that it would be a cheap, outdated, and uncomfortable hotel. Perhaps my expectations were low, as it turned out much better than I expected.
It’s not anything fancy, but the room was a good size and comfortable. My room had a queen sized bed and also included a mini fridge, kettle, table and 3 chairs. The bed also had an electric blanket, although mine didn’t work. It wasn’t necessary anyways, as the heater in the room provided enough warmth. The room also had a door to a huge veranda that is shared with all of the neighbouring rooms. Unfortunately there aren’t any chairs or tables outside, but I suppose you could easily move a few of the chairs from within your room.
All of the rooms require a key to open the lock, but there wasn’t any additional locks from inside the room. A second thing that I found strange is that there were only two electrical outlets, but they were both by the entrance of the room, so you couldn’t really charge any of your devices from the table or the bed.
I also dined at the restaurant, as there aren’t exactly many options available in the area. The food was sub-par but passable and good enough for one meal.
