I had intended to arrive into Sydney around 5:30pm, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I didn’t land into Sydney until after 10:30pm at night. I made my way to the CBD and thankfully arrived at the hotel by 11:50pm. Had I arrived 10 minutes later, the reception area would have been closed, which I didn’t realize prior to staying there.
The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Town Hall Station and is an easy walk to many surrounding restaurants and sights. The new Light Rail route was being tested while I was there, but has now opened, which means that even more public transportation options are available from the hotel.
I had booked into a single room, which was extremely small, but I did know that prior to arrival. The single room that I was in, is located off to the side of the building, which meant it was very quiet. I had a view of the buildings on Liverpool St and found the room to be nicely lit during the day.
They were able to fit a small closet, a dresser and a nightstand into the room and this definitely helped, as there is such a limited area of space to place your stuff onto. Thankfully there was a bit of space at the end of the bed where you could easily have your suitcase opened without having it hinder the bathroom door or anything like that.
The room was clean, and I had quite a pleasant stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again as the location was incredible.
