I stayed at the Chisun Grand Nagasaki for one night at the beginning of this month after staying at a regular Chisun the night before. (The hotel is now known as the S-peria Nagasaki). The Grand is definitely a lot more grand than the regular hotel. The hotel was within a 2-3 minute walk from Gotomachi tram stop. You could also walk there from Nagasaki station if you don’t mind lugging your suitcase for 800m.
Although check in wasn’t until 3pm, we were able to get our room by 2pm. The room was big for Japanese standards and had separate toilet and bathtub areas. The bathtub room had a bathtub and the traditional Japanese stool and washboard for you to sit on.
The hotel was amazing in every aspect, but my only complaint was that there was only wifi in the lobby (as with most Japanese hotels).
